Merry Christmas Everyone! Boy I love this time of year! To be able to think about all those you love and wish the best for them and their families and also to see the excitement of Christmas in our children's eyes. We have a few things happen since I posted. Graham started Cub Scouts and Clara had her birthday and started walking everywhere. She is one busy little girl!

Okay, I know I haven't posted in a long time but we had a great day yesterday with Graham at his baptism that I wanted to share some pic with all of you! Graham had three of his best friends get baptised too, so it was a fun day. I still can't believe I have a eight year old. The cake is Graham's freaky cake and we had a lot of fun making it. Graham was so excited that he was jumping up and down for joy and that is not an exaggeration. He got a suit for his birthday and a set of scriptures. He looks really grown up all dressed up! Thanks for all of you that came down and brought so much food!

Okay so I have forgot my blog for a whole month! What can I say the summer is crazy! I am sure all of you know what I mean! We have been having a lot of fun! David is liking his new position in his company and we are adjusting to sending him off to the office everyday. I know most husbands go to the office everyday, we just didn't know how lucky we were to have David around so much and now we miss him during the day! We love that he is home at nights and he can go to baseball and whatever else is going on! David really likes working with the young farmers and ranchers and supervising the regional managers. He is still learning the ropes a bit but I think he will do a great job! He just finished interviewing and hiring a guy for his old job he said that was quite the experience! We had a different 4th this year because David and Graham went with a neighbor of ours on a corn maze cutting trip. They went for 9 days and worked really hard and had a lot of fun. While they were gone the kids and I went to Liberty for the 4th and even spent some time at the Huntsville park (I haven't been to the Huntsville fireworks since I got married). We also went to the Argyle reunion at my mom and dad's. We had a great time but it wasn't the same without David and Graham! Here are some pictures from their trip

Well I was able to fill up two pots of water this morning with out going to the bathroom to get the water! Hurray! My sink is in along with my counter tops! What a wonderful thing to have a full functional Kitchen again! We still have a extensive list of things to do like the floor, doors, trim and so forth but we are grateful for the kitchen we have now and are really grateful for all the good help we have received! In other Bailey news, David has started his new job as the Vice Pres. of Organization. We are so proud of him, we are trying to adjust to him going to the office instead of his home office! Ty turned three this week and I can't believe how quick time goes by! He is a great little boy and we are so happy he is a part of our family! Well that's a real quick update and I will post pictures soon!

Well here they are my cabinets! They are a thing of beauty! I can't even believe how well everything turned out this far! We still need a few essentials like counter top and a sink but hopefully that will be coming this week!

Well here is the update on our Kitchen. We have the drywall up and they are taping and mudding today! Can you see me doing a dance of joy?!!! I am so excited I can't even tell you! David, my Dad and Mom, Neil and Mitzi and David's Dad and Mom have all been working very, very hard to get us to this point! I can't believe all the wonderful help we have had! My job is to clean up the messes and keep everyone fed. I have learned how to cook things in a microwave that I didn't know you could! I feel so bad for David his brain is on overload and he is always thinking of each next step! Wow he has done an amazing job with this Kitchen! I can't wait to be cooking wonderful meals in my wonderful kitchen!

We had a Great Easter! The kids had a great time at the Easter Egg hunt in Lake Shore for the whole minute it lasted! I am not kidding just ask Mitzi. She was awe and surprised at the speed of the hunt! Adi wasn't impressed and luckily we got to have an Easter Egg hunt that afternoon at Grandma Argyle's where you had to actually look for the Easter Eggs. Mitzi and I left Neil and David working hard on the kitchen while we went to the Easter egg hunts and I am happy to report that things are moving forward. I get so excited when I think of how it will all look when we are done! We had a Easter celebrations at my moms house so we didn't have to deal with all the dust. It is so fun to watch kids do those kid things that you remember doing!

My Ty guy cracks me up! I told him to go get dressed for the day and he came down stairs in this! Now that might not seem that funny to you but he now has on four shirts. The first shirt is his undershirt he put on as a jamie shirt on Saturday after is bath, the next shirt is the one he wore on Sunday, we got home late on Sunday night and didn't get into pjs. Monday he added his third shirt instead of getting clean clothes on. Last night when it was time for jamies he insisted that he had to wear his shirts to bed and I was too tired to fight this battle! Well this morning he comes down with shirt number 4! What kind of a mother am I? Well I guess the outside one is always clean! I wonder how many days he could go?

As of Friday We no longer have a Kitchen! Wow what a job! On Friday evening David's parents and Neil and his family came down to our house and helped us tear it out! To get rid of our cabinets took all of about 30minutes but then we had to tear out the false ceiling. David, Gene and Neil got all that done and cleaned up by about 11 that night! We all went to bed with great anticipation for the next day when we would be taking out the brick wall! My Mom and Dad came down in the morning a the fun began! I don't know how many times this old house has been remodeled but I hope it makes it through this! It took a lot of thinking and talking but they did it! The wall wasn't supporting much but there was a whole lot of brick to haul out! We need to say a big thank you to everyone that came and helped and brought food too! It was AWESOME as Ty would say! As you can see in the pictures at one point there was a whole in my house! We went to see our cabinets up at dad's and they are so beautiful! I can't wait to post pictures of my new Kitchen. It is quite entertaining to wash the dishes in the bathtub and cook everything in the microwave but I am sure the fun of it will wear off real quick!

We had a great Trip to Washington DC at the end of February. It was very cold and DC got their first snow of the year when we were there! It was a business trip for David but it felt more like a vacation! It was fun to spend so much time with David and Clara. Our other kids were well taken care of by my mom! David and I were able to visit my cousins which was a lot of fun! It was also a great culture experience to go to the Washington DC Capital ward on Sunday! We even saw some people from Liberty there!

It has been awhile since we updated this! I just wanted to post some of these cute pictures! Clara is smiling so much now! One of our families favorite pastimes, is trying to get her to smile! We had a fun friend party for Lilly's Birthday! Her and her friends made necklaces and bracelets! It was fun and very different then the boy's birthday parties! I put a pigtail in Clara's hair at two month old can you believe that! She looked so cute! and so smiley too! Graham is a great reader now and we all love to sit and listen to him read!

Recently David was able to go to Texas and visit his old friend - Dr. Wood. Logan makes everyone call him Dr. now. Acutally while we were there I refered to Logan as Dr. Wood and Logan's little girl Sydney piped up and said "dad your not a Dr. your a dentist" we all got a kick out of that. Neil and Mitz also were there. We all were in San Antonio for a Farm Bureau convention, on a free day we rented a car and made the 2 hour treck south to Victoria. Tracy cooked us a fabulous meal and we had lots of fun playing games. What a nice place they have there in Victoria Texas. Thanks Dr. & Mrs. Wood for a fun evening full of good ol' Texas hospitality. Oh by the way - no other Wood brother or sister has yet to visit Logan and Tracy in Texas, I guess that tells you what kind of a friend I am. Thanks again for letting us come and visit. I was able to make a fast friendship with little Kellen. What a great family!

Clara and her Grandparents the day of her blessing! What a cute baby girl we have. Clara was blessed at the end of December when most of our family was around. Grandma Argyle made the dress out of some lace that was made by a great Grandma on the Bailey side. It sure turned out great! Thanks to both Grandma's for making it work out so well. It will be a treasured heirloom.

We had a great Christmas! David was able to take the last two weeks off and we had a great Christmas/New Years Vacation! Why are vacations always so much work! David really worked hard this year to make Christmas extra special. He was so excited by Christmas Eve I didn't know if I would get him to go to bed! Graham, Lilly and Ty looked so cute in the PJ's I made. The PJ's were not as professional as my mom always makes but I had a fun time making them and the kids looked cute in them! We let the kids open their PJ's on Christmas Eve and they were so sweet and thankful for them! Graham thought we should open a gift too so Lilly and Graham gave us their gifts that they had made at school. Graham had written a book and Lilly had made a little tree! What thoughtful kids! We had a great time opening and opening! What a Christmas! Graham and Lilly decided this year to ask for surprises and Santa had a great time surprising them!

We had a great time at the Ward Christmas party! Lilly got to be the angel to announce the arrival of baby Jesus! She was great! Graham was a Shepard. The kids were very excited when Santa came! Ty was a bit shy and Lilly did all the talking for him! Lilly and Graham couldn't decide what they wanted Santa to bring them so they both asked for a surprise. They are counting down the days!

Well, she finally arrived. Clara Jean Bailey was born Nov. 17th at 2:49 PM. She weighted in at 7lbs. 5.8 oz. She was 20.5 inches long. The doc once again showed up after the fact. He was only about 20 seconds to-late though so he is making progress I guess. Sharleen is doing great she lost quite a lot of blood but is feeling better now. It progressed so quick there wasn't much time for anything. We are so glad to have her here and feel very blessed to have such a beautiful little girl come to our family. I will post more pictures in the coming days so stay tuned!

This was the view from "David's Rock" opening morning. Graham out hiked Dad to the rock and the rest of the day. He even hiked the trail home later that afternoon. We did get a few shots at one (4x5)deer but it was a little to far away I guess because he lived!

Deer Hunting 2008! We arrived at camp earlier than usual. It was nice to set up the tent in the light. Graham rode on behind his dad and we had a great ride. It was fairly warm and we all slept pretty good.

Moving on now - This is Graham's Birthday party - we had 12 friends come over for a party that was oh---a bit roudy to say the least. Everyone had fun and Graham scored big on the present end of things. He is now 7 years old and he thinks that is big enough to be pretty cool. We sure love our Graham!

Ty loves to help his Dad do whatever he is doing - here is really getting into it. Ty is quite the kid and a very happy one at that. He is now potty trained and really it wasn't that hard if I do say so my self.

This day we decided to clean up and harvest what remained in our garden. This year has been a very bountiful year for garden production. The wheelbarrow filled to overflowing after this picture was taken. Sharleen bottled, froze, canned, dried everything you can imagine. She's quite a trooper when it comes to preserving fruits and vegetables. This year we were glad to see it come to an end. We even had corn on the cob on the 12 of October. We actually have a few pieces left today we are going to eat. Here is a short list of items we(a Shar) preserved this Year: Peachs, Apricots(jelly & juice), Pears, Brocoli, Tomatoes, Squash(dried zuccenni & crooks), corn, beans, grapes(juice & jelly), apples(dried & suace) and beets - I think I left something out. We used every bottle we have - plus be bought some new this year. Its been a yummy summer!

Recently our two boys had a bonding moment up at the cabin. Ty has been doing great with the whole potty training experience. This picture was taken from inside the cabin out the window while watching General Conference. It rained for 2 days while we were there but stayed we nice and cosey inside by the fire. That storm produced nearly 3 inches of rain in the valley. Snotel reported 4.4 inches of rain at the upper BenLomand weather station. Awesome!

Graham had his front tooth hanging on for forever! He finally pulled it out! His other front tooth was loose and he decided that he didn't want loose it at school! So the day before first grade he tied a string to it and shut the door! He said it didn't hurt at all!
